HIGHLIGHTS – International Day of Biological Diversity 2023 Hybrid Event

To celebrate the International Day of Biological Diversity and to promote the gender-responsive implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework through grassroots women working towards this goal through restoration and biodiversity governance, Women4Biodiversity held the event “From Agreement to Action: Ways forward for gender equality and women’s rights in building back biodiversity” on 18 May 2023.

Caring for the land: A reflection on a CSW67 feminist climate justice event

The parallel event, Driving Land Restoration in Rural Communities through Feminist Climate Justice, organized and moderated by the Green Hope Foundation last 14 March at the recent Sixty-Seventh Meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 67), enabled a very important discussion and exchange on gender and climate justice, and land restoration in rural communities.
